**The following cemeteries were originally copied circa 1912 by Josephine C. Frost from manuscripts belonging to William F. Wyckoff of Jamaica, Long Island, a lawyer and member of the Long Island Historical Society. In the early 1900's, he hired a young man to survey these cemeteries, as they were rapidly being destroyed by land owners. In some cases, it is noted, the stones had been used for barn foundations, tops of stone walls, door steps, and walkways.**
