Tornado
On Wednesday, April 3, 1974 - at 4:40 p.m. - this small Ohio town suffered incredible devestation from a massive tornado, part of a larger two-day outbreak, commonly called the "Super Outbreak" that killed hundreds in several Midwest and Southern States. Xenia's tornado was the single most deadly of this outbreak.
34 individuals are known to have lost their lives in this disaster.
