Records to add to Telferner Cemetery?
Telferner Cemetery Records submitted by
The Telferner Memorial Cemetery was established in 1891 by the Swedish Methodist Episcopal Church of Keeran. The Telferner Cemetery is located in Telferner Texas. Take US Hwy 59 Business from Victoria (about 8 miles east) or Edna (about 18 miles west) and take the Telferner Exit onto FM 1686 (also called Wood St). Go south to East Street and turn right (this becomes Old Hwy Rd). Turn right on Minatre Rd. Follow Minatre Rd around a curve to the left. Before the next right turning curve is the cemetery. You can enter from here or go around the curve and enter the other side of the cemetery by the pet section. This entrance does turn onto Morrow, but that is a gravel road and not easily accessible back to Minatre due to the road being eroded in several places.BERG
